The Pacific Star offers three cruising options to passengers. Our Blue Sky day cruise for fishing, diving and beach visits; a Sunset cruise for the romantics; and a Getaway Cruise for those spending more time in the Puerto Vallarta area. Each option is “all inclusive” and most itineraries can be tailored to meet your interests. Our Blue Sky Cruise can be an all-day fishing excursion; a dive boat for enthusiasts; a cruising vessel to beaches in the area; or a combination of everything. The Sunset Cruise is the perfect way to unwind after a day in Vallarta. Here you will sip tasty cocktails and enjoy a professional chef prepared dinner while you watch the sun descend into the ocean. When the stars come out, we then cruise toward shore to watch the dazzling fireworks display before returning. This is the perfect ending to an amazing day in P.V. Our Getaway Cruise is a 7-day excursion and is your chance to
truly discover the secret beauties and magnificent seclusion of the "Gold Coast," Mexico's South Sea's paradise. Travel beyond the tourist areas of Puerto Vallarta with our knowledgeable crew who are experts in local habitats, fishing and diving. Cruising Options and Prices

We are pleased to offer three different cruise experiences on the blue waters of Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding area. Read on to find which option is the ideal Pacific Star cruise for you.

The Blue Sky Cruise

Join us for a relaxing day cruise trip along the Puerto Vallarta shoreline to the beautiful snorkel area of Los Arcos, a federal underwater park and ecopreserve. Our guided snorkel tour of the coral reefs is a must do on any trip to Puerto Vallarta. Here, you can watch swirling bunches of butterfly, angel and parrot fish graze on green algae; and possibly catch a glimpse of bigger life in the coral depths. For lunch we travel to the pristine paradise of Las Animas. This idyllic beach is the perfect place to enjoy local cuisine, sunbathe or for the more active traveler a chance to water-ski or parasail. In the afternoon we cruise along the coast and watch for whale, dolphin, manta ray and turtle sightings before returning to the Marina. We start the day at 10:00 a.m. and return around 5:00 p.m. The cost covers six passengers, with a maximum of ten.

Cruise price $2,250

Additional fee of $15 for each passenger over the six-person limit.

The Blue Sky Cruise includes boat to beach transportation, snorkel equipment, boat fuel and crew costs. We also provide refreshments including water, sodas, beer and light snacks.

The Sunset Cruise

Travel along the stunning Malacon and Puerto Vallarta coast, past miles of shoreline and beaches as the sun descends into the ocean. This evening cruise is the perfect way to unwind, while enjoying the sound of waves against the boat at the end of the day. Our professional chef will prepare you local specialties for a full dinner, made with the freshest ingredients and tasty cocktails to compliment. When the stars come out we sail toward shore to watch the dazzling fireworks display of the Malacon from the deck of the Pacific Star. We begin the trip at 6:00 p.m. and return around 10:00 p.m.; a maximum of four passengers on this private cruise.

The Sunset Cruise includes boat fuel and crew costs. A professional chef prepared dinner, cocktails and firework display.

Cruise price: $2,550

The Getaway Cruise

This seven-day excursion is your chance to truly discover the secret beauties and magnificent seclusion of the "Gold Coast," Mexico's South Sea's paradise. Travel beyond the touristy areas of Puerto Vallarta with our knowledgeable crew who are experts in local habitats and fishing. We appreciate that your time is precious and therefore customizing the itinerary to your needs and desires is always available. We do offer the following suggestions for a unique travel experience.

First we will head south to the tranquil blue waters of the Chamela Bay. This calm broad beach lined bay is dotted with islands, rocks to dive off of, and beaches of soft yellow sand. We will anchor here for a night and go to shore to explore Chamelas vibrant nightlife.

Next we travel further down the Jalisco Coast, with its endless golden sand beaches and lush tropical forests. Follow the path less traveled up the Tenacatita River for a jungle river boat trip and wildlife-watching. We will then spend a day at Playa Careyes where egrets, herons and cormorants are all visible from the tops of sand dunes.

We end the trip with a stay at the small beach town of Barra de Navidad, home to Mexico’s most luxurious resort destination The Grand Bay Hotel. This trip accommodates four passengers.

Cruise Price: $17,500

Price includes daily continental breakfast and all lunches. Refreshments include soda, water, beer and nightly cocktails. Most passengers choose to go a shore in the evenings to explore local cuisine, however our professional chef will also prepare dinners for $40 per person per night. All fishing and diving (for certified divers) is included, as is all equipment for activities. If you are un-certified we provide dive-master services at $180 per day with 4-day minimum. Price includes fuel allowance of up to 300 gallons, which is sufficient for the above described itinerary.
