The Villa La Baleine (The Whale) takes its name from the fact that we can observe the migration of whales each year. You will appreciate the beauty and the romance of the sunsets from the deck of the pool.

Villa la Baleine is a lovely Antillean-style St. Barts villa located high on the west side of Colombier. La Baleine consists of several traditional style cases in a multi-level compound that includes a private courtyard and a charming gazebo where you can view magnificent sunsets. There is lots of outdoor seating, living and dining space. The modern fully equipped kitchen has a covered outside dining area that leads to the newly refurbished deck, pool and jacuzzi. The gazebo and deck offer panoramic sea views looking out to Gustavia harbor along with views of Saba, Saint Eustatius, Saint Kitts and Nevis. La Baleine is off of a private road and offers complete privacy. The design is local, charming and cheerful with bright pastel colors.

The property is spacious and was designed to take advantage of the panoramic view. The beaches of Flamands and St. Jean are only a few minutes drive away. La Baleine is minutes away from the best bakery on the island and very convenient to both St. Jean and Gustavia.

Villa La Baleine Features

• Villa La Baleine is made up of five separate bungalows. The kitchen and living share a bungalow and each of the bedrooms is housed in its own private bungalow. There is also a separate air conditioned fitness room.


• Bedrooms: Two with king beds and one with queen bed. Each is air conditioned with ceiling fan, private bathroom with shower and a private terrace. All bedrooms have TV connected to the living rooms satellite; one bedroom also includes DVD player.


• Air-conditioned fitness room with treadmill, stair climber and hand weights


• Gazebo seating for six people and two hammocks for lounging with speakers for listening to music


• Well equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, blender, dishwasher, toaster, and coffee maker. The kitchen overlooks the living room.


• Living Room/Dining Room offers ceiling fans, comfortable sofas and armchairs - large satellite TV with 250 channels, DVD, telephone and fax. There is also an outside dining area under a gazebo, close to the pool and the deck, with a fantastic view.


• Pool overlooking the ocean that can be enclosed for children; jacuzzi with massage jets
