Q: Who is Valerie Neblett and what is Casa Valerie Villa Rentals?
I am one of the most experienced and respected luxury companies in the Luxury Vacation Villa Rental field. Casa Valerie Villa Rentals has been a leader in the luxury travel industry since 1982. I am perhaps the only Luxury Villa Rental specialist that is actually a Licensed Real Estate Broker.

Q: Are the rates per person or for the entire villa?
Our rates are for the entire villa, but there can be no parties, weddings or large gatherings allowed in the villas without written permission. Villas may not be occupied by more guests than specified in the rental contract. Rates are based on occupancy and additional fees may apply.

Normally a 7-night stay is required during High Season. During Low Season, the minimum is 5 nights. Casa Valerie Villa Rentals does accept shorter stays, especially if it is close to your departure date.

Q: Does a weekly rental always start on the same day each week?
In Mexico, you can arrive on any day of the week, as long as the villa is available. In Europe, especially France and Italy, the normal arrival and departure day is Saturday.

Q: When is In-Season and Off-Season?
At the villas in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico's” In Season” (also known as Winter and High Season) begins in mid-December and lasts until mid-April. The lower rates of 'Off Season' (Summer or Low Season) take effect until Thanksgiving week. Your villa consultant will reconfirm this upon your inquiry, as there are a few exceptions. In Europe the opposite is true, with July and August being "peak" season.

Q: Do we have to pay full rent if we book a Casa Valerie Villa Rental with more bedrooms then we need?
Not necessarily. Villas can be rented at a reduced rate when you do not use all the bedrooms. Please always inquire.

Q: If we do not book all the bedrooms in a villa will someone else (i.e. strangers) be using those bedrooms and sharing the house?
Absolutely not. You are renting the entire villa and you never have to share a villa with anyone other than those in your party.

Q: Is a Casa Valerie Villa Rental Villa a good idea for a honeymoon?
It's an exceptional idea and a great value. Villas are private and spacious and many have Hot Tubs or Jacuzzis. Many of our listings offer reduced rates for 2 persons or Honeymooners.

Q: Isn't Casa Valerie more expensive than a hotel?
As you explore the villas we represent you'll see that many villas are often much less than prices at hotels of the same quality standard. When you factor in all the benefits and amenities of a private villa, you'll quickly realize that villas offer a superb value. (Remember to compare rates per room/ per night).

Q: Are children welcome in all the rentals?
Yes. I can also arrange baby-sitters 24/7.

Q: Do you have additional villas and locations?
Yes, we are continuously adding to our collection so please always inquire for availability.

Q: How do I book a villa rental with you?
Please contact us via phone or email to confirm a reservation and villa availability. A 50% deposit is required within 5 days to hold a reservation. Reservations are not considered firm until the deposit is received. PLEASE READ MORE ABOUT THIS IN THE VILLA POLICIES SECTION.

Q: Where can I purchase trip insurance for my vacation?
Trip insurance is highly recommended. Don't let a last minute emergency ruin everything. Please contact me if you would like to purchase travel insurance.

Q: Does our villa rental come with maid service and a cook?
Daily maid service is included in all of our rates. A personal chef and wait staff are included in our daily rates except where noted in our value rates.

Q: What are the price ranges of the villas?
The key factors in determining the price of a villa are the size, number of bedrooms, architectural design, décor, location of the villa, and the time of year you choose to travel. Our current rates are from $960 a night for a 3 bedroom in low season to $2,100 a night for a 6 bedroom in high season. Rates for holidays are more. Check each villas page for complete details.

Q: How is the price determined?
Pricing criteria can vary from home rental to home rental, from season to season, and from destination to destination. Location, quality, amenities, inclusive services, and popularity/availability of the vacation home rentals are all price influencing factors.

Q: What is included?
Amenities and services vary from house to house and from destination to destination. Please check the individual villa description for which amenities and services are and are not included in each of the villas you are interested in.

Q: What are some of the advantages of a villa versus a hotel?
You will have complete privacy in your vacation home rental, in your pool, and with your family and friends. There can also be a cost savings when travelling with your family or larger groups. It is comfortable to enjoy the space in a nicely designed, appointed and outfitted home rental.

Q: Can I reserve the same villa for the same time next year if I like it?
If you would like to reserve the same vacation villa for the same time next year, we strongly encourage you to rebook that villa with us as soon as you return. The most popular luxury vacation villas are rented quickly. Your Reservations Consultant will call you upon your return to assist you in rebooking your villa, or to help you find another personalized villa vacation rental in another of our selected tropical destinations.

Q: How many guests can I bring with me?
A maximum occupancy number is stated in the villa description (depending upon number of beds). If you arrive with additional people above the maximum occupancy allowance, it is grounds for asking you to leave the private home rental and you forfeit your rental. If you have last-minute guests travelling with you, we will be happy to help you find a supplemental villa rental or hotel accommodations for your guests, or if possible, to find you a larger vacation villa (if we can replace your rental in your original villa rented).

Q: Will I need to put down a security deposit on my villa rental?
Yes. Villas require a refundable security deposit of $2,000 on all reservations. Your security deposit will be returned to you usually within 10 working days via a return check if no damage was discovered at your rental villa.

Q: Who do I contact in the event I have a problem at the villa?
Every villa will have a local contact, local housekeeper, villa manager, or local villa management company who is accessible around the clock to respond to any problem you might have at your villa.
