The Riviera Nayarit Convention along with the Visitors Bureau (CVB) proudly presents the first ever Latin Fest Riviera Nayarit 2014. The festival begins at 7 p.m. on the coming weekend, which means August 1 and 2, and will be organized at the Marina Nuevo Vallarta.
This brand new festival will kick off with an impressive lineup of events, performances, food and fun. All through this exciting weekend there will be free dance presentations, drinks and a whole lot of merrymaking, not to mention some groovy Latin salsa music by Pedrito & D’Cuba Son.
The dance performances will be choreographed by seven regional dance academies: N’Movimiento, Salsa Class, Anel & German, Quilombo, Jaleo Flamenco, Zumba l Efren Muñoz and Puerto Ritmo de Guadalajara (Children’s Academy).
The idea behind this festival is to encourage local businesses and dance academies by showcasing their products, services and talents. Plus, the event is also being endorsed by the hotels in Nuevo Vallarta as an additional attraction to charm guests during their Mexican vacation. Roughly 200 people are likely to attend the festival each day.
This festival draws inspiration from the previously held Salsa-Mambo Fest Riviera Nayarit that was hugely successful and proved just how much the guests were fond of Latin music.
Here’s some great news for the music-lovers: In case of a positive response by the guests, the Latin Fest Riviera Nayarit may even become a recurring event being organized every so often!
